My Testimony

Standard

I want to share my testimony that I know this Gospel is true.

The first time my friend shared his testimony with me, he told me that the Gospel saved his life. At the time, I didn’t trust him or his words. But now I know what he meant; my experience this year proved to me that my life needed saving.

I’m grateful for 30 missionaries who never gave up on me when it would have been easier for everyone. I’m grateful for a Heavenly Father who knew to put 30 missionaries in my way, even across two continents, in order to get my attention.

I’m grateful for the gift of the Holy Ghost, whose constant companionship has slapped me in the face with truth when I am too stubborn to listen.

I’m grateful for the fellowship of my ward and the friends who have guided me and lent me their testimonies as have strengthened my own.

I’m grateful for the Atonement, which I recognize as the most heroic gift given by anyone human or divine.

I’m grateful for the Book of Mormon. It is my tangible evidence that God is still speaking and still invested in our eternal progression.

I find so much comfort in the knowledge that I can go to Heavenly Father with everything knowing He is always listening.

I’m grateful that I can say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

So much love,

The LadyMo
